Unleash the debates!

Larry Lessig has a great post asking us to call upon the Republican and Democratic parties to insist that all presidential debates (“at least”) be made free for use after their initial broadcast.

    Yes but also a live feed from say UstreamTV running through a Jaiku Twitter Tumblr array, with live chat streams split into separate channels by topic, location, etc. to keep it manageable, and ppl monitoring live chat input and reaction to the streaming video of the debates.

    Just dreaming I guess.

    Can we at least toss in some immersive haptics telepresencing gloves, so we can punch the prez candies in the nose when we disagree? Like a harsh blogocombat sparring, with physical pain for the politicians? Please?
