Dewey Decimal inside joke

Peter Van Dijck has set up a consulting company to help organizations organize their Web-based information in ways accessible to a world-wide community. Peter’s named his company 290s because that’s the “Other religions” category in the Dewey Decimal system.
Dewey Decimal jokes are funny — at least to a hopeless information geek like me. But Peter might want to get an OK from OCLC before he prints any more business cards. They sued the Library Hotel in 2003 for using Dewey numbers without permission.

I don’t think they’d go as far to sue a company whose name *refers* to a DCC category :)
