The book is published!

Today’s the official pub date of Everything Is Miscellaneous.
In celebration, I took down the notice in the header of this page that the site is beta. It still is beta, or maybe gamma, but it didn’t seem appropriate to say so now that the book is published.
Yay.
Congratulations David.
Beta? I dislike that word. Beta generally means: too cheap, mediocre, or stupid to hire usability analysts to run user observation tests on the product.
Beta means “screw the user”.
Beta means “you find and fix the bugs, we’re busy drinking margaritas and playing violent video games”.
Beta means “don’t worry, be crappy” or “ship shoddy, but ship first”.
eh?

It’s probably always nice to see your work getting out the door and into the shelves of all of us :-)
Now, if I can only find someone that is the US and is coming to Israel so I can ship it to them and save the shipping costs… ;-)
